MSI Computer Corp. has released its new 17-inch GX740 gaming notebook powered by Intel's Core i7 processor and the ATI Radeon HD 5870 graphics card which supports DirectX 11 graphics. The system benefits from MSI’s Turbo Boost Technology which ensures smooth game play without lags, while also lowering power consumption. Designed with a brushed aluminum gaming chassis and fire engine red accents, the MSI GX740 weighs about seven pounds and measures an inch-and-a-half thick. MSI put a raised chiclet keyboard on the notebook, designed for gamers with clearly marked W, A, S and D keys for quick response while gaming.
